Recently, famous Mexican boxer, 25 year old Ryan Garcia, was expelled by WBC due to his incredibly racist comments he made on social media.
One Way Ticket to Getting Cancelled
On July 4th 2024, there were some seriously racist comments made by Ryan. That same day, WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman announced on the social media platform X, previously known as Twitter, his decision to expel Ryan from his organization. He states his fear for Ryan as he is clearly in need of mental help that he is not getting.
“Exercising my authority as president of the WBC , I am hereby expelling Ryan Garcia from any activity with our organization. We reject any form of discrimination. I fear for Ryan well being as he has declined multiple attempts for our help with mental health and substance abuse” is the tweet WBC president Sulaiman made.
Horrible Actions, Have Terrible Consequences
It is not something new, as Ryan has been known to say previously subtle racist statements that have been swept under the rug. However, what he said in the tweet, is not something that can be ignored. “I hate n [censored] , I’m anti-black, I’m the KKK. Hey, let’s go bring George Floyd back to life and go kill that n [censored] again.”
That is the outrageous tweet he said publicly on X. It is the last straw people needed to realize he has gone wild. First it was his rant about the “elites” and his said kidnapping involving children sexual assault that caused many people to make conspiracies. Now, he is making insane racist statements. It is probable that his drug use is causing him to lash out in harmful ways. People that know him pray for his well being and hope he can seek the help he needs.
