Recently, news about hurricane Beryl have stated that it will be hitting Texas tomorrow early morning as a category one hurricane.
Hurricane Warnings in Texas
The hurricane which started as a category four then turned to a category five earlier this week have really taken a toll on many places. This tropical hurricane has destroyed many parts of different Caribbean islands. On Friday, hurricane Beryl had weakened to a category two by the time it reached parts of Mexico in Yucatan. It weakened more after that. However, it has not been confirmed that it will reach certain parts of Texas as a category one. While it is weak, it is still important to be properly safe as hurricanes can be unpredictable and can strengthen any time.
The National Weather Service said it will most likely stay as a category one when it hits Texas, but it will be a strong one. This storm will have winds of 75 miles per hour or up to 85 miles per hour. While it is not a lot, it can still cause major damage. It is said that hurricane Beryl will hit the east sides of Texas such as Matagorda Bay.
People Should Prepare
This hurricane is not a joke, and can intensify very fast. People should make sure to have the proper precautions or if possible, evacuate the area. The fast winds that hurricane Beryl will bring, will cause the nearby beaches to have intense waves and most likely flooding as well. The first start of the hurricane Beryl should be reaching Texas later on tonight.
