Bournemouth vs Man City LIVE: Twist in the Tale, Unexpected Events Unfold, and Title Race Acquires a New Plot
The clash between Bournemouth and Man City does not look like a routine game in the Premier League. Even though the match looked quite predictable for Man City from the very beginning, the game has turned out to be rather unpredictable due to its consequences in the championship race.
Moreover, the match has taken an unexpected turn thanks to the impressive goal scored by Junior Kroupi that has put everything into question not only for this particular game but also for the entire league and Arsenal’s title ambitions.

🕒 12’–30’: City Control, Bournemouth Resist
As expected, Manchester City began the match in a controlled manner, with everything falling into place as soon as they got hold of the ball. Manchester City had control of the pace of the game because they were controlling the ball and pushing Bournemouth deep into their own half.
In contrast, AFC Bournemouth played defensively, clearly anticipating the transition phase rather than engaging in possession exchanges.

It was only a matter of time before Manchester City scored.
🕒 31′ – HT: Bournemouth Find Their Rhythm
Bournemouth began showing their fight as the half progressed. Two fast breaks, some well-fought battles in the midfield, and suddenly City didn’t look so confident anymore.
There was a shift in the rhythm that wasn’t really anything special, just enough to show that Bournemouth were here for more than defending.
Still, it was a game of tactics. Chaos was waiting to break out.
And it did.
⚡ 52′: THE INCREDIBLE STRIKE FROM JUNIOR KROUPI – THE ENTIRE GAME CHANGES
Vitality Stadium erupted into life.
Junior Kroupi made space for himself on the edge of the penalty area and then unleashed a strike that was anything but expected, anything but clinical, anything but powerful and anything but placed. First touch, first shot. Top corner.
Half a second after the ball left his foot, City’s defensive line had reacted – and it was already too late.
Bournemouth were no longer competing against their rivals. They were beating them.
The effect this had on the league standings became a talking point straight away.
