BREAKING: Offender Charged with Murder of an Infant in Chicago in the First Degree

          Offender:      Tatiana Maxwell, 25

                                 3000 block of W. 59th St.

                                 Chicago, Illinois

Charges:      One (1) felony count – Murder – First Degree

                      One (1) felony count – Murder – Strong Probability Death/Injure

Narrative:     The above offender was arrested by members of the Chicago Police Department on May 15, 2026, at 8:45 a.m. in the 5800 block of S. Maryland Ave. She was identified as the offender who, moments earlier, fatally stabbed a female infant in the 3000 block of W. 59th St. (8th District). The offender was quickly placed into custody and subsequently charged accordingly. No additional information is available at this time.
