Offender Charged with Murder of 42-Year-Old Male

Joliet, Illinois
Charges: One (1) felony count – Murder – First Degree
One (1) felony count – Pcs – Possession – Poss Amt Con Sub Except (A)(D)
Issuance of Warrant
Court: Detention Hearing – 2600 S. California – May 14, 2026
Narrative: The above offender was arrested by members of the Chicago Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force on May 11, 2026, in the 6800 block of S. Stony Island Ave. He was identified as the offender who, on April 2, 2026, fatally shot a 42-year-old male victim in the 4500 block of S. Drexel Blvd. (2nd District). The offender was placed into custody and subsequently charged accordingly. No additional information is available at this time.
