Offender Charged with Multiple Counts of Aggravated Battery
Offender: Darion Turley, 27
4000 block of Milkweed Drive
River Grove, IL
Charges: One (1) felony count – Aggravated Battery/Peace Officer
Two (2) felony counts – Aggravated Battery/Public Place
Two (2) felony counts – Aggravated Battery/Use Deadly Weapon
Court: Detention Hearing – 2600 S. California – May 24, 2026
Narrative: The above offender was arrested by members of the Chicago Police Department and on May 22, 2026, in the 600 block of S. Michigan Ave. He was identified as the offender who, on the same day, battered and seriously injured a 29-year-old male and a 67-year-old male in the 1100 block of S. Wabash Ave. (1st District). The offender then resisted arrest and battered an officer before being placed into custody. The offender was charged accordingly following an investigation by Area Three Detectives. No additional information is available at this time.
