Narrative:     The above offender was arrested by members of the Chicago Police Department on May 22, 2026, at 5:27 p.m., in the 7800 block of S. Halsted St. He was identified as the offender who, four hours earlier, fatally shot a 74-year-old male victim in the 8100 block of S. Laflin St. (6th District). He was placed into custody and charged accordingly. No additional information is available at this time.
