CPD Community Alert -Public Transportation Section – Seeking to Identify – Aggravated Battery – JK268517 & JK268519

Mass Transit Detectives are seeking to identify the pictured subject in relation to an aggravated battery to two (2) victims on a CTA train car. The subject approached both victims, who were passengers on board a CTA train car, and struck the victims about the face with a closed fist before fleeing the CTA train car on foot.

· 900 block of W. Belmont Ave. on May 25, 2026, at approximately 1:33 p.m. (Lakeview East)

Male, African American and approximately 35-40 years old, 6’0″-6’2″ ft tall, 270-285lbs, slight black colored facial hair, and short black hair.

Los detectives de transporte público buscan identificar al sujeto que aparece en la fotografía en relación con una agresión agravada contra dos (2) víctimas a bordo de un vagón del CTA. El sujeto se acercó a ambas víctimas —quienes eran pasajeros a bordo del vagón— y las golpeó en el rostro con el puño cerrado antes de huir a pie del vagón del CTA.

Hombre, afroamericano, de aproximadamente 35 a 40 años de edad; estatura de 6’0″ a 6’2″ pies; peso de 270 a 285 libras; vello facial escaso de color negro y cabello negro y corto.

• Manténgase siempre atento a su entorno.

• Marque el 9-1-1 para reportar cualquier actividad sospechosa de inmediato.

• Nunca persiga a un agresor que se da a la fuga.
