Drake New Album Release
It is clear that Drake wanted to do something different this time, something that was going to surprise his fans, and he absolutely achieved that. “Drake dropped not just one, but three new albums on Friday, releasing “Iceman” as expected at midnight ET, along with “Maid of Honour” and “Habibti.”,” according to Variety.
Drake went ahead and release not one, not two, but THREE albums simulaneously. These three albums are titled Iceman, Maid of Honor, and Habibti. Additionally, this all comes after the beef that was being had between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, so this may have been done as a statement to not only Kendrick, but to all of the rappers in the game.
‘Iceman’ is Dark and Cold
The release that is currently getting the most attention is ‘Iceman’, and there are many people that are already calling this one of his best releases in a very long time.
This goes to show that he is still capable of making really good music that is captivating, and in turn his fan base continues to grow. With this though, the fans are likely going to expect more, and of the same quality, otherwise he will more than likely lose these fans.
It is clear that listening to Iceman is something that many people are referring to as one of his ‘coldest’ releases in a long time, and he is likely going to keep this information for future releases and albums.
‘Habibti’ Brings New Energy
Iceman is a more dark album, one that would be built for this midnight drives and things of that nature. However, Habibti, is taking an entirely different turn.
Many people agree that this album is good for those late nights, and this focuses on a more melodic and rhythmic tempo, which is something totally different from the other albums. It is clear that Drake was going for a good blend of music styling, going through different variations and experimenting with different types of beats and music.
It is clear that through this experimentation, he is likely going to find something that sticks with what he is trying to do for his fans, and it will surely skyrocket as a result.
The Biggest Personal Project
Maid of Honour was an album that was the least unexpected from Drake, and was truly the biggest surprise to his fandom. This album is incredibly personal, delving in deeper to personal reflections and things of that nature.
As a result, many people are also essentially forced to reflect when they are listening to the music, as the music is something that people could more than likely relate to, and as a result, have a better time listening to it.

As was expected, many people were blowing up social medias with these releases, as they were something that many people were looking forward to. A lot of people were reflecting on the music, and trying to see exactly where Drake was coming from when making it.
It also seems as though Drake himself had given a quick little snippet of the albums, somewhat explaining what they would more than likely entail. “When the time is right, I’ll be back with another album—a one-on-one conversation with y’all that you need to hear,” he said during a stop on his Anita Max Win Tour,” according to PitchFork.
Therefore, it is clear that the intentions were already there to release music that was deeply personal and heartfelt, and he certainly has exceeded expectations.
Strategic Move Pulled Off By Drake
This was clearly a huge strategic move that Drake decided to pull off, and at the best time he could have. He knew that dropping three albums would generate the most amount of hype, as it was something that many people were not expecting to begin with.
In addition, the music itself is different from his past releases, which guarantees that people will continue to talk about where he is coming from and what may have changed within his music style.
Fans Already Debating Online
Fans are already having arguments online about which album was the best one, and they remain to concede. It is clear that Drake is dominating the music industry right now, especially with all of these releases.
Not many artists are known for doing these kind of releases, which is what sets him apart from the rest.
Drake’s Ability to Dominate
Not many artists are capable of making three albums, and having each one of them being a major talking point among people across the world. This is what makes this such a huge deal, and something that many people are truly surprised to see happen.
Whether he is loved or hated, it is clear that many people still listen to Drake, and feel something heavily for his music.
