Investigation into Fatal Crash at 6700 Irvington Boulevard
Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 6700 Irvington Boulevard about 4:40 p.m. on Friday (May 16).
The deceased male is identified as Alberto Martinez, 44.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Barrow and Officer T. Johnson reported:
A red Dodge Ram 1500 was traveling southbound at the above address at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control and crashed into a fence and pole. Both occupants were ejected. The male driver and female passenger, 33, were transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
The driver was later pronounced deceased.
The investigation is ongoing.
