Thursday’s Presidential Debate
As expected, both Donald Trump and President Joe Biden came out swinging after Thursday night’s presidential debate. Multiple claims were made by both parties that have been proven false. In addition, multiple people from the crowd and watching from home were left astonished as to what they had witnessed.
There were times in which this debate seemed as if it was a verbal fight, and many times both had veered away from the question at hand to attack each other any chance that they had. This, aside from being quite humorous, is terrifying.
After the Debate
Joe Biden and Donald Trump both held rallies to talk to their supporters about how they felt the debate went. Joe Biden acknowledged that he “might not walk as easily or talk as smoothly as I used to. I might not debate as well as I used to. But what I do know is how to tell the truth,” mentioned Joe Biden on X.
However, there were many that were pointing out the amount of claims Biden had made that were entirely false and were not backed at all by statistics. Therefore, this has provoked many people to question the competence of current President Joe Biden, and if he should even be allowed to run for presidency in America.
The Future of America
As of the current moment, it is said by the majority of Americans that Donald Trump clearly won the debate, and by a long shot. However, there are still many people that are heavily in favor of Joe Biden and will do everything in their power to show their support for him. There is a hope that the future of America is the #1 priority of the two candidates, and despite all of the fights and arguments, there can be a common ground established by both parties for a common goal.
