Nearly 10 billion passwords were leaked, and it is urged that many change their passwords to avoid their information from being taken.

Revealing that many passwords for threat actors substantially heightens the risk of credential stuffing attacks,” researchers said,” according to The Jerusalem Post.

Therefore, this password leak is affection millions of people across the entire globe, and therefore everyone needs to take into consideration potentially changing their passwords to ensure they have not been affected.

The Future of Technology

It is clear that technology is constantly evolving, and with it hacking becomes better and better as well. Therefore, as technology advances, there needs to be something done to ensure that online safety is taken into consideration as well, and better methods of protection are taken into account and implemented within the future.

Therefore, as of now, it is advised that passwords be changed to something different and more complicated, to ensure the safety of the information that should not be stolen.
