The Obamas

Former President Barack Obama was a president of understanding and compassion for Americans. He cared deeply for everyone around him and left no one behind no matter what. He was named “Person of the Year” multiple times for the things that he did. Additionally, he had won a Nobel Peace Prize when it came to foreign relations. Furthermore, in 2008 and 2009, Barack Obama, along with First Lady Michelle Obama. were able to lift the country out of the Great Recession. Therefore, this large number of accomplishments is one of the many reasons he was elected for two terms, and many people wanted him longer.

Michelle Obama

Michelle Obama had been a huge support for the former president. She backed him up no matter what he decided to do. Essentially, she had been a huge supporting factor for Barack Obama, and was able to witness the many great things he had done.

She also shared her many ideas with the general public as well. Many people were agreeing with her point of view. However, after Barack Obama ended his second term, she did her best to be there for her daughters in every way that she could.

Since political life had gotten to a miniature end, she wanted to be a mom to her daughters, as she had more time to do so. It can be said that Barack Obama also had the same vision and wanted to do the same himself. Political life had certainly been a major challenge, as there was not really much time to be a family.

Michelle Obama on Becoming President

As of lately, there has been speculation that has been going around major social networks about Michelle Obama potentially running for President in 2024. She had not said anything about the matter. That is, until it started picking up a lot of fame in such a short amount of time. Essentially, she had said that she was not planning on running for office.  Essentially that the speculations were not true whatsoever. Back in 2019, and ever since then, she made sure to make known that there was absolutely no chance that she would run for presidency.

Reactions From This Decision

As she shuts down the fact that she is not running for presidency, many democrats are now terrified of their odds. It seems that President Joe Biden is not doing as well as was hoped for them, and Michelle Obama was their only shot at overturning the election in their favor against Donald Trump. However, only time will tell if she may change her mind, or if Joe Biden will take office once again.

Additionally, many people are also discouraged at the fact that she is not running as well. Many were enlightened when Barack Obama was in office. They were hoping to have Michelle Obama in office, especially in the times we live in now. It is constantly made clear that something new is needed in the U.S, and without it, might cripple America even more.

The Future of This Presidency

It seems that there are three main candidates for presidency, Nikki Haley, Donald Trump and Joe Biden. However, it is unclear who is going to win. These candidates are still trying to rack up as many voters as they can. It is also unclear the future of the country, and whether or not it is going to be a good or bad one. There is a hope that whoever wins the 2024 presidential election, can make a change, and a positive one. Focusing more on American citizens may be the answer that is needed to change America completely. Otherwise, the outcome may be disastrous.
