Who Was Jeffrey Epstein?
Jeffrey Epstein was a well-known financier for a very well-known company. He was also a sex-offender, who was going to spend the rest of his life behind bars because of the crimes he had committed. He also owned a private island, in which nobody but his invitees had access to.
This island, according to many, was where many of his unspeakable actions took place, due to how isolated it was. In 2017, he was undergoing trial for being exposed of the truly horrifying actions that he committed. However, his time behind bars was cut short, as he died by suicide in his cell. As of recently, there is a huge uprising in new documents, that described the many celebrities invited to his private island.
Why Were These Celebrities There?
Occasionally, Jeffrey Epstein enjoyed having celebrities over at his private island. Additionally, he would provide them rides on his private jet to get to this island. Therefore, many celebrities were at his island at different times. There are also photographs that have been made available that have detailed these visits to the island.
There was a dedicated photographer that would accompany Jeffrey Epstein on these “voyages” and would document the encounters he had with the celebrities. The photographer was also accused of rape and many other crimes. He later killed himself in his jail cell in France before his trial date.
Why Are These Documents Being Unsealed?
This lawsuit has been ongoing for several years now, way after Epstein’s death. “The documents being unsealed are part of a 2015 lawsuit filed against Maxwell by one of Epstein’s victims, Virginia Giuffre. She is one of the dozens of women who sued Epstein saying he had abused them at his homes in Florida, New York, the U.S. Virgin Islands and New Mexico,” according to Fox 11 News. Additionally, there was proof that was made available to further aid the witnesses in this court case.
Who Are the Celebrities?
There is a very long list of celebrities that have gone to Epstein’s private island. Many of them are very well known in the industry, as they star in movies, or are singers. Some of these artists include former presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, as well as Richard Branson and more to name a few.
“In those messages, Ransome made allegations that implicated former Presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, Prince Andrew and Richard Branson. She also described alleged videotape evidence she claimed to possess that would back up her allegations but said she could not provide it, according to the messages,” according to ABC News. There are many other celebrities that also attended the island and are speculated to have engaged in acts of this nature.
This lawsuit has been going on for several years, and as more documents continue to be revealed, it is expected to contain a large number of names. “The documents in total, including material yet to be unsealed, are expected to include nearly 200 names, including some of Epstein’s accusers, prominent businesspeople, politicians and potentially more,” according to CNN Business. However, this does not mean that all 200 people have committed a crime. In fact, there are some documents that clear certain celebrities from any wrongdoing.
The Future of These Documents
As not all of the documents have been made available, the complete list of celebrities is not yet available. However, as the days continue, it surely will be made available within the coming days. Therefore, within the next week, the full list of celebrities should be made available to the public. However, if they have committed any wrong doing may take some time to fully figure out. Additionally, it may take more witnesses to testify before any decisions are made.
