Investigation into Fatal Crash at 10100 Bissonnet Street
Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 10100 Bissonnet Street about 9:50 p.m. on Saturday (May 16).
The identity of the deceased male, 50, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Officer M. Sudduth reported:
The driver of a white Ford Fusion was traveling westbound on Bissonnet at the above address when a pedestrian stepped into the roadway and was struck by the vehicle. The pedestrian was taken to an area hospital where, on Monday (May 18) he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Ford remained at the scene, did not show signs of intoxication, and was questioned and released.
