Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 705 Fidelity Street
Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 705 Fidelity Street about 9:50 p.m. on May 18.
The identity of the victim, 72, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Arrington and Detectives M. Castillo, E. Camacho and R. Waterwall reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found a male in front of a residence. He had suffered at least one gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the male to an area hospital where doctors pronounced him deceased.
Preliminary information indicates there was an altercation between the victim and an unknown male prior to the shooting.
