Solid Waste Management Memorial Day Collection and Facility Schedule
Houston – The City of Houston Solid Waste Management Department (SWMD) announces an adjusted curbside collection schedule in observance of Memorial Day. Curbside services and facility operations will follow the schedule outlined below.
Residents with a regular Monday collection day should place their trash and recycling carts out on Tuesday, May 26.
Tuesday collection customers should place their carts out on Wednesday, May 27.
There will be no changes for residents with Thursday or Friday collection. Those residents should place their containers out on their regularly scheduled collection day.

All facilities and administrative offices are closed, including Residential-Drop Off Centers Environmental Service Center, Westpark Recycling Center, and Reuse Warehouse
