Suspect Charged, Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 9387 Richmond Avenue
Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 9387 Richmond Avenue about 4:10 a.m. on May 20.
The suspect, Emilio Fuentes Cuellar, 45, is charged with murder in the 495th Criminal District Court. A photo of Cuellar, who is not in custody, is attached to this news release.
The identity of the victim, 38, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective E. Torres reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call and found an unresponsive male with gunshot wounds outside a business. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Investigators later identified the suspect as Emilio Fuentes Cuellar. He was subsequently charged and is wanted.
