Secret Service for US Vice President JD Vance has confirmed the arrest of 26-year-old William DeFoor for being in connection with the break-in damage to the Cincinnati home. Damage to the home of U.S. Vice President includes broken windows. DeFoor was seen by a Secret Service agent and caught on camera breaking four windows after walking onto the property without permission. He is being charged with criminal trespass, damaging/endangering, obstructing official business, and vandalism.
No other arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
The break-in occurred just after midnight on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026. Vance was not home at the time of the break-in.
